For the month of October, we increased our donations slightly… certainly something we are pleased to have been able to do.
With a total of $7000 donated to the following charities via our CHARITEA program this month, we are giving back to the world with your help better than ever!
The Hunger Project
We passed on much needed funds to this project where they are used directly on the ground. With the Hunger Project Charity, funds are allocated to an area that is in most dire need at the time the funding is received.
This charity is another fantastic charity that we are extremely humbled to support. All funds are directed immediately to areas of concern.
Jodie O’Shea Orphanage; Care For Kids
A bit about Jodie O’Shea Orphanage:
“Jodie O’Shea Orphanage was founded in 2005 in memory of a beautiful young lady who died in the tragic bombing here in Bali in 2002. I spent many hours with Jodie in the hospital before she was airlifted out to Australia , meeting Jodie changed my life.
We are home to 86 children who come from all different walks of life but all have very sad and many of them horrific backgrounds. Some children still have both parents but they are too poor to even feed them let alone educate them, some have one parent and some have lost both parents.
At Jodie O’Shea we strive to help these children to lead healthy, normal lives. We provide good nutrition, education and above all love. Our goal is for them to go into the world as happy, self confident adults and the children stay with us until they are able to do just this until they are able to go into the workforce and look after themselves. Some of them attend university, others do hospitality or other educational courses.
We take nothing from the government and we are 100% reliant on the generosity of others to enable us to give these children hope for the future.”
