Every Child is a Gem
Kelly Dailey founded Every Child is a Gem in 2008 to offer assistance to vulnerable children around the world, using education to empower vulnerable people, including orphans and widows; and more recently, refugees.
Her team over at Every Child is a Gem, have been volunteering tirelessly around the clock to assist and aid refugees who have made their way to Europe or the Middle East, from Syria, Iraq, and Afghanistan.
Kelly, Reema and Carina; a group of expat mothers from America and Australia, have been driving from Paris to northern France, and Germany to assist at refugee camps.
Mamah, pictured below, has fled Daesh in kurdish Iraq, and has set up a tea tent in the midst of the muddy makeshift camp of Grande Synthe in Northern France, where more than 2000 refugees are living in deplorable conditions.
Mamah serves soup and tea to anyone who comes past. The team at Every Child is a Gem want to help Mamah set up a real teahouse on a street front, so she and her family can continue serving tea and soup.
We think that’s great.
Every Child is a Gem is run 100% by volunteers, and is a registered non-profit organisation. Keep up the good work ladies.
With Love,
