What Is A Chakra Anyway?

The chakras correspond to organs and nerve centres in the body, effecting us emotionally – and spiritually. So it’s important to understand what each chakra represents and what we can do to keep this energy flowing freely.

The seven chakras are the areas in our bodies in which energy intercepts. Think of them like phone towers, for a phone call to get where it needs to go, it pings a few towers on the way to help maintain its reception so it doesn’t lose the message. For energy (Qi) to flow from your head to your arm, it pings the towers (chakras) along the way, if it loses reception it becomes stuck somewhere.

The chakras correspond to organs and nerve centres in the body, effecting us emotionally – and spiritually. Since energy and breath, are all moving, it’s essential that seven chakras stay open, aligned, and fluid. The same way food scraps block a drain to prevent water flowing through, blockages in the chakra stop the flow of energy.

So it’s important to understand what each chakra represents and what we can do to keep this energy flowing freely…
