Happy Valentine’s Day! Whether you have a special someone in your life, or you’re spending the day with your best friends and celebrating the joys of being single, it’s a wonderful day. There’s nothing better than a day dedicated to love in all of its forms. If Valentine’s Day has never been your cup of tea, we want to change your mind. We’ve created the perfect plan, from start to finish.
What? You thought we’d wake you up earlier? No! It’s Valentine’s Day. Enjoy sleeping in. Now, that you’re awake, it’s time to actually feel awake with a warm cup of English Breakfast Tea, or coffee. Once you’re feeling more alive, forget about breakfast in bed—it’s too much work and requires clean up. Instead, head out to your favorite breakfast joint. If you don’t want to deal with a line or waiting, pick up something to go.
Okay, so you took a little time to get out of bed and get started, that’s great. Now that you’re full and caffeinated, it’s time to have some fun. We’ve got a few ideas.
- Outdoor Enthusiast: If you love the outdoors, then use Valentine’s Day as your excuse to get outside and enjoy the beauty of nature. Go for a hike or a bike ride around town. If it’s really cold and you’re sporty, then go skiing or head to the local ice rink.
- Introverts Unite: Not a big fan of spending time with other people? Instead, choose some epic movies and download them directly to your TV, or put on some Netflix and get ready to binge-watch to your heart’s content. And you don’t have to choose romantic comedies. Horror, action, drama, anything works on Valentine’s Day. After all, it’s about what you love.
- Romantic Heart: Okay, so you have a special someone, and you want something romantic, no problem. Think of something that you love to do together, like going to the Zoo, walking around the park, or baking sweets in the kitchen. Then, start enjoying. And, don’t forget the Sex Tea. 😉
4:00 / 5:00 pm
We had a late breakfast so why not an early dinner. This way you can skip the crowded restaurants, eat dinner, and still have plenty of time for a night on the town. If you love to cook, then make a delicious meal, by yourself or with your honey pie. If you’re not a fan of cooking and cleaning, head out to your favorite restaurant. Be sure to call ahead for reservations so you’re not stuck waiting for an hour for your table. Also, while you’re out, make sure you have dessert. If there’s any time to indulge, it’s on Valentine’s Day.
Look at that, we made it to the evening, and there’s still so much time! It’s time to head out on the town and have some fun. If you love dancing, head to your favorite club and get your groove on. If dancing isn’t your thing, head out to drink at your favorite bar or go to the nearest coffee shop for after-dessert coffee or tea, and spend the evening talking and laughing. And if you’re a homebody, then take yourself on home and curl up on your couch with a good book or movie.
Remember, Valentine’s Day is a celebration of who and what you love, so do what brings you joy!
