I use to go crazy a week before my period.
I’ve been diagnosed with anxiety a couple of years back. I use to feel anxious everyday.
But the week before my period would be the worst week ever. I would constantly try to fight with my boyfriend, try to break up, and blame him for everything because he did not understand my PMS and anxiety.
But I learned how to cope with it. More like “we” learned how to cope with it. Communication is the most important factor to relieve my PMS and anxiety. No amount of medication could help me. Medication is short term. But good communication and care is long term. Try it… Speak to the people around you, care for them, and next time you get angry… Instead of having a tantrum… explain why you feel the way you do.
