Baking Soda & Lemon Juice: You probably have these two ingredients in your kitchen already. This teeth whitening recipe is simple. Mix several teaspoons of baking soda with enough fresh lemon juice to make a paste. Then, wipe your teeth with a paper towel and using your toothbrush, rub the paste onto your teeth. Leave it on for one minute and then rinse.

Coconut Oil: Okay, we’ve always loved coconut oil, but did you know it can be used to whiten your teeth? Simply put a spoonful of coconut oil in your mouth and swish between your teeth for 5 – 20 minutes. Or you can even add a few drops to your toothbrush and rub it on. The great news, coconut oil is also great for your gums.

Strawberry, Salt & Baking Soda: This one might seem a little crazy but strawberries are high in Vitamin C, which can help break down plaque that causes your teeth to look yellow. It also has malic acid, to help remove surface stains. This teeth whitening recipe starts with 1-3 strawberries, a pinch of sea salt, and ½ teaspoon of baking soda (optional). Just mash the berries into a pulp and add the salt and baking soda. Then, place the mixture on your dry teeth for 5 minutes and rinse.
