The holidays are almost here, and that means one thing, your gift buying window is shrinking quickly. Nothing is worse than heading out on the eve before the holidays to buy a few last minute gifts. This year, follow our gift buying guide and take care of everyone on your naughty and nice list without the stress!
Give an Experience: For the people on your list who have EVERYTHING give them an experience. Give tickets to a play or a day on the golf course. Or pre-pay for a dinner date and night at the movies.
Look to the Past: The past offers a lot of great gift inspiration ideas. Give someone a photo book of a recent vacation or a framed photo of a dog of family member who they recently lost. Or give an old school album or game that relives childhood memories. We love nostalgic gifts.
Think About Needs: Sometimes the best gifts are those that are very practical. Instead of spending money on a bath set, consider giving your sister in nursing school a student nurse survival kit. Or give new parents a gift card to your favorite baby store.
Be Charitable: If you really have someone in your life who has and does everything, give a gift in their name instead. Donate your time and/or money to a charity that would be close to their heart.
Make it Funny: Gag gifts can be a joy to give and receive. Know someone who loves books? Buy them ridiculous bookends that also satisfy their love of Star Wars.
Keep it Personal: Stalking is okay over the holidays. Check out the social media accounts of your friends and family and find gifts that they’ve hinted at throughout the year. They’ve most likely shared articles, images, and posts about what they enjoy.
And for the tea addict in your life, may we recommend one of our Tea Gift Boxes? What would be on your gift buying guide?
